The camp
Scout skills meet the global airwaves.
JOTA/JOTI is the world’s largest digital and radio Scout event. The Western Vic camp gives youth members a practical, supported way to take part—no radio or technical experience needed.

Groups attend with their own registered leaders. Skilled adult volunteers can also register to help run activities.

Activity stations are designed for different ages and experience levels. The final program may vary with equipment, conditions and volunteer availability.
Radio shack
Make supervised amateur radio contacts and learn how operators connect across Australia and the world.
Digital basecamp
Join safe, guided JOTI activities, digital challenges and conversations with Scouts in other countries.
Electronics bench
Try Morse code, phonetic alphabets, signals, electronics and practical communication challenges.
Scout campcraft
Share a Western Victorian Scout weekend filled with teamwork, outdoor fun and new friendships.
Radio fox hunt
Use handheld radios and directional antennas to track down a hidden transmitter in an amateur radio direction-finding challenge.
Geocaching trail
Follow GPS coordinates, solve clues and work as a patrol to uncover hidden caches around the campsite.
